Introduction
The BX18 EDM arc generator is the latest product from BaxEDM. The BX18 arc generator is equipped with EtherCAT and comes with software components for LinuxCNC enabling the realisation of custom EDM machines with a very lean electrical architecture. These machines do not require a CNC hardware control solution anymore, as servos and the arc generator connect to the LinuxCNC PC directly over a standard EtherNet interface.
