25mm thick, cut at 0.8mm/min
I've cut this 25mm thick stainless steel piece at 0.8mm/min. I noticed that on inside holes where there is no open cut for the water flow to escape horizontally, the flushing conditions are less good, which results in a lower speed. I have also been flushing too hard, the wire apparently vibrated/bended in the middle, which caused the cut piece to have thinner middle than the outer edges (a few hundredths of a mm) . To solve this, I need to increase the wire tension and reduce the flow, or perhaps flush from a single side. That sometimes also makes a big difference. Anyway, not bad for a first try.
